#1. About BDSMlibrary
The BDSM Library is a site where you can indulge your twisted sexuality and explore new kinks with a long list of free BDSM stories, galleries, and pay-per-view- videos, but also chat with others, write your blogs and read what other people have to say.
#2. First Impressions
If you had to describe the look of BDSMlibrary by using a clothing analogy, you’d get nothing but strings. It’s as simple and empty design as you could get. I even went to the browser settings to ensure the content wasn’t blocked. The BDSMLibrary site rocks two tiny sidebars on both sides, all of which look like they came from the 80s. However, the biggest mystery lies in the center, above the message. There’s a large rectangular field that is empty and confusing.
Following a link to a gallery for BDSM videos, you get an old announcement. It states that the submission process is working again, and you will soon see many awesome improvements. We don’t know if any of those tweaks were made considering the current state, but since it was published in 2019 and the latest “new” stories have a publishing date of 2017, you know what’s up. The site is long dead and no longer updating, so it’s an immediate 1 out of 10 for the update frequency. At least you have thousands of published posts from the past!
#3. Content & User Experience
This site has been online for over 20 years and has quite a collection of stories to show for it. You can explore thousands of different BDSM stories involving every kind of kink, fetish, fantasy, and situation; some are true, some are embellished, and many are probably fake, but that doesn't make them any less exciting to read. You can also e-mail the author and send a review or comments to encourage them. Besides reading, you can check out the video section with professionally filmed, pay-per-view content or the massive collection of sample BDSM galleries.
There's no denying that BDSMLibrary.com offers lots of good content, but the site looks like an outdated mess in terms of design and shows some ads. Luckily, you can sort pictures with 40+ categories, and the stories have excellent basic and advanced search functions, besides many ways to list them (newest, highest rated, premium picks, by title/author, longest, etc.). Moreover, each story is categorized, so you know precisely what you're getting. Finally, as a free member, you'll get to write your blog, participate in the forum, and chat with others live while the cam section is out of order.
Still, if you dive deep into the BDSMLibrary, the stale feel always remains since some links require fixing. The submission area gives errors, and random broken pieces, not to mention previously discussed issues. However, the biggest con for me is neither of those. Instead, it’s an old approach to opening stories. A link to see the “whole story” with the outdated Internet Explorer icon leads to a new page. It wouldn’t be horrible, but stories don’t even look like they were published in the last decade. You have random “?” symbols due to missing characters or bad encoding, etc. What happened?

If you can get past the terribly outdated design, then BDSMLibrary is a site that offers thousands of free BDSM stories. Also, despite no updates, you still have many sample galleries, good search features, and a chance to interact and chat with the remaining members. However, there are far better alternatives that too offer the BDSM category.
