#1. About SxyPrn (YourPorn)
Previously known as YourPorn.com (not to be confused with YouPorn.com), YourPorn.sexy, and SexyPorn.to, SxyPrn is a vintage-style (not theme) porn site that first appeared in 2001. Just a few years ago, the owners changed its name to SxyPorn in 2016.
#2. First Impressions
Quirky websites are my thing; if the purpose is served to the end consumer, it’s not that important. SxyPrn is a memorable site but maybe not for all the right reasons. As soon as it starts blasting your eye sockets with porn, your mind might need 20 to 30 seconds to adjust your behavior. It’s very different from the rest.
There’s a reasonable probability that SxyPorn was hacked at the time of writing as the experience went from acceptable to awful. During the last 5 minutes of my visit, the site became unusable. Maybe they’ve found a workaround to kill my ad-blockers, or someone just messed everything up, but at that point, we gave up and went left with a bitter taste. It didn’t matter where you clicked; the tabs would load ads in the background with weird numbers and letters for their domain names. Not like Porn300 but randomly generated strings of gibberish. Maybe instead of changing the name to SxyPrn, the whole approach of servicing the community should’ve been reevaluated. The worst was when clicking on a video opened these weird domains instead of a video with no way of returning. Based on that, I’d never list SxyPrn on-site, but maybe a third look is worth considering. Below, I’ll list some SxyPrn usage examples before it all went downhill. YourPorn (or whatever the name will be next year) is a fledgling tube that should know better.
#3. Content & User Experience
Gauging the amount of content on SxyPrn is hard, but there seem to be at least a thousand videos for every category out of more than two dozen. Quality is decent, whether in window mode or full screen, but don't expect to see too many full HD clips. The playback works well, yet the media player sucks. It’s the most basic thing you’ll use without any features. Even if you switch between “native” and regular. That’s a change so minuscule that the feature shouldn’t be there. What about the good news? Scrolling is fast, yet you can't adjust video quality. At least downloads are free and seem fast.
Despite a good choice and number of videos, the design and layout is lacking. SxyPrn boils down to a lot of page flipping and scrolling or using a basic search. Overall, the experience is not intuitive and needs more work. There are a few added features with a free sign-up but nothing too enticing. Finally, there are quite a few pop-ups, although nothing in or around the video player.
It goes without saying that SxyPrn has some interesting ideas, like a porn wall, orgasmic videos, and Reddit-like community options, but the execution just isn’t there. The style is like that of a vintage site with a Sheriff or similar font. Maybe the 80s adults are digging the looks, but there’s so much you can do to give users a better experience. You won’t even think much of it and call me crazy. However, I dare you to figure out the layout. It felt like solving a Rubik’s cube; I’m bad at figuring out perspectives.
#4. Conclusion
SxyPrn might have good content, but the site itself feels clunky and hard to use. Streaming and downloading is fast and easy, yet sorting through everything is a nightmare. Also, bad ads.
