#1. About Tube8
Whether you're interested in a quick stop or a porn binge, a free site like Tube8.com has a wagon full of kinky stuff. From sugar mommas to teddy bears and then some ladyboys. Tube8 was created in 2007 and is part of the PornHub network. Hence comes with the same annoying ads yet solid content.
#2. First Impressions
We’ve seen the same layout more times than your mom has seen my neighborhood’s cocks. Minus the color, there’s no innovation, and it’s almost identical to YouPorn, PornMD, Thumbzilla, XTube, or any other site from the MindGeek family: the nagging ads, background ads, and top videos at the very top. Two of seven navigation spots are reserved for ads, so the ratio is not exactly excellent. You know the drill.
Since Tube8 utilizes the same servers that feed the world other adult content, there have never been issues with loading speeds or performance. There’s a grand “wow, this site feels huge” feeling, so I can see some people using Tube8 for their wild rides. Especially since you get a nice number of features, but more about that later.
#3. Content & User Experience
Roughly speaking, there are around 200,000 clips on Tube8. They range from a few minutes to an hour or more, although the quality goes only up to HD. I don’t know if it makes you miss things, but it’s like banging a hot hoe with a condom. You might get pleasure out of it, but it’s not a complete experience. If you can’t stand anything below 1080p, there’s a PornHub premium membership. While the streaming quality is adjustable depending on the video and speed, site downloads are strictly for registered members.
In the filtering section of Tube8, we have a list of 25 different categories, including “HD,” “VR,” “Step Fantasy,” and “Strip.” Since Tube8 lists the numbers next to its category name, it’s easy to tell which sections are worth visiting. I did enjoy the VR-only section, but it suffers from the same 720p or lower quality. If that doesn’t do it for you, the whole area can be scrambled when you switch from regular to bisexual or gay porn format. Moreover, you can dig deeper by going to the tags page, where you'll find hundreds of entries in an A-Z list.
Visitors may also pick from dozens of channels that sort content based on the premium site of origin. Tube8 has a nice ranking and doesn’t seem biased toward its sites. As I’ve said, the look and feel of Tube8 aren’t much different from your average tube site; that goes both for the mobile and the desktop version. Registered users can follow channels, favorite videos, download, leave comments, and rate content. On the other hand, everyone has access to your standard sorting options on Tube8.com, including a basic search and a simple pornstar index. Regarding ads, there are plenty of banners and pop-ups. The worst ads are those that aren’t even there to advertise things. Just annoying “please disable your ad-blocker” messages that have no place in modern society. Finally, all the videos and previews I’ve tried did load fast, even when jumping to random parts of the clip.
#4. Conclusion
There are lots of videos and plenty of variety on Tube8, but the whole PornHub network ad format doesn’t justify another visit, and I suggest other names from the same brand. Don’t believe me? Fine, give it a try; you might like it.
